Or this?
Competition
With one book uploaded onto Amazon every five minutes, that’s one big competitive environment. With a lot of competition, there is also a lot of reader choice, and that means your book has a high chance of being passed by, judged purely on looks alone. You spend so many hours writing and editing your book, don’t let it be passed over because of a poorly designed cover.
Attract
To attract readers to your book like bees to a flower, you need to arm yourself with knowledge. Savvy authors understand current market trends and styles, images and fonts, even how colours attract or repel. If they do use a designer, they are able to assess if they receive just a pretty picture, or highly competitive packaging. They know that an attractive, targeted cover gives them a unique competitive advantage.
How can you compete?
Easy. I’ll be showing you how to design a marketable cover right in front of your eyes only at the Third Writers Unconference in Melbourne on Sunday 6th May.
Spend 3 hours with me and I’ll not only share hot industry secrets, but I’ll produce a targeted, marketable, professional cover step by step. You’ll see how a cover is professionally put together and understand not only the design elements you were blind to before, but understand the reasoning behind each element as it’s put on the page - live.
You’ll also be able to ask me questions as we progress through the design. An industry professional at your service!
Have questions? Bring them along too.
Having trouble with your cover and simply don’t know why? Bring it along with you and I’ll provide a personalised assessment on the day. This course is not offered anywhere else in Australia! One day only. Limited space.
