Margaret Tanner

Margaret Tanner is a member of the Romance Writers of Australia, Romance Writers of New Zealand, Romantic Novelists Assoc. UK and the Melbourne Romance Writers Group. 

She has won or been commended in competitions on several occasions, and has had numerous short stories published over the years, but writing Historical romance novels is her passion.  Her favourite historical period is the 1^st World War.  Not only has she painstakingly researched this era, but was fortunate enough to make a poignant pilgrimage to the battlefields of France and Belgium.

She is married to Laurie and they have three grown up sons, Stewart, Glen and Jamie.  Margaret lives in Melbourne, which is Australia’s second largest city. She has recently retired from her full time job as a medical typist to concentrate on writing.
